PORTAX After-Tax Portfolio Analysis

PORTAX has 5 different wizards to automatically create reports from the analytics.

1) Standard Client Report
2) Standard Client Report Export to Excel
3) Advanced Client Report
4) Advanced Client Report Export to Excel
5) Custom Client Report Export to Excel

The two PORTAX reports (1 and 3) are available immediately and do not require exporting.  The three Export to Excel reports (2, 4 and 5) involve large, automated data exports to Excel.  The Standard and Advanced Export Wizards (2 and 4) also have a preformatted companion Excel workbook report.  Between the nine different PORTAX input editors and the dozens of different PORTAX output screens, the Client Report Wizards make handling all the data quick and easy.  Using Excel for reports allows users to further customize their reports.  Note that PORTAX and Exported Excel Reports have slightly different formats and features, but the same basic information and layouts.

Standard Client Report Wizard
From the PORTAX optimizer graph, a user selects a current portfolio and three optimal portfolios.  This wizard then generates a report immediately available in PORTAX that is similar to the Standard Client exported report.  The currency for this report is USD.

Standard Client Report Export Wizard

From the PORTAX optimizer graph, a user selects a current portfolio and three optimal portfolios.  This wizard then generates a data workbook with 26 PORTAX spreadsheets including the input editors and different analysis spreadsheets.  The wizard also generates a second workbook with a companion formatted report that has 20 pages.  The currency for this report is EUR.

Advanced Client Report Wizard
From the PORTAX optimizer graph, a user selects a current portfolio, a policy portfolio and five optimal portfolios. This wizard then generates a report immediately available in PORTAX that is similar to the Advanced Client exported report.

There are two sample reports to view.

The View Example Advanced Client Report corresponds to the View Example Standard Client Report. The Advanced Report contains more detail and has 39 pages.  The currency for this report is USD.

The View 401k Advanced Report has reporting on an Aggregate Portfolio with its two subportfolios, Main and 401k. This report has 90 pages. This report has 3 currencies:  EUR for the Aggregate Section, GBP for the Main Portfolio and USD for the 401K sub portfolio.

Advanced Client Report Export Wizard
From the PORTAX optimizer graph, a user selects a current portfolio, a policy portfolio and five optimal portfolios.  This wizard then generates a data workbook with up to 274 PORTAX spreadsheets including the input editors and different portfolio and sub portfolio analysis spreadsheets.  The wizard also generates a second workbook with a companion formatted report that has a minimum of 39 pages and can be considerably larger depending on the number of sub portfolios.  The currency for this report is JPY.

Custom Client Report Export Wizard
From the PORTAX optimizer graph, a user optionally selects a current portfolio, a policy portfolio and five optimal portfolios.  The user also selects up to five tables and five simulated runs.  This wizard then generates a data export with up to 486 spreadsheets including the input editors and different portfolio and sub portfolio analysis spreadsheets.  This wizard does not have a preformatted companion workbook report.
